![]() ![]() I escalated to a supervisor and asked for a copy of A11 to be emailed. Whatever I said about the fact that I have been running it on the system for almost a year I kept being told that Windows 10 won't run on the system. I rang technical support to be told that N5110 could not run Windows 10. The replacement motherboard was running BIOS A06 so I went to the Dell support website to download Bios N5110A11, but it was no longer available. Three weeks ago the motherboard failed (overheating GPU which I understand is a common problem) Since I had a full back up I was confident that all would be well after buying another motherboard. When it was announced that Windows 7 support was ending I tried to upgrade to windows 10 which worked and I have been using Windows 10 since then. Last September the motherboard failed and I purchased a replacement (an exact replica of the original apart from BIOS A11). When Windows 10 became available I tried to upgrade and was told by Dell technical support that the system could not run windows 10. I have an N5110 that was originally bought with Windows 7. ![]()
